Key Responsibilities
1. Product Vision & Strategy
- Define and execute Fairdeal.Market’s Product & Technology roadmap aligned with aggressive growth targets.
- Own product-market fit across merchants, riders, warehouse teams, and internal users.
- Drive innovation in AI-powered demand prediction, smart pricing, route optimization, and automated fulfillment.
- Build scalable frameworks for experimentation, A/B testing, and data-led iteration.
2. Platform & Architecture Leadership
- Oversee architecture across Merchant, Rider, Sales, and Hub/Warehouse systems.
- Ensure platform scalability to handle 10x transaction growth with 99.99% uptime.
- Lead microservices architecture, API-first development, and modular system design.
- Build secure, resilient, and cost-efficient cloud infrastructure.
3. Engineering & Product Excellence
- Build and mentor high-performance teams across Backend, Frontend, Mobile, Product, and Data.
- Establish best practices in CI/CD, DevSecOps, code quality, and sprint discipline.
- Implement strong product documentation and delivery frameworks.
- Foster a culture of ownership, speed, accountability, and innovation.
4. Data & Intelligence Engine
- Drive a data-first organization with predictive inventory and real-time dashboards.
- Build centralized data infrastructure for analytics, forecasting, and BI.
- Ensure governance, compliance, and security standards across systems.
- Convert operational data into actionable strategic insights.
5. Business & Leadership Alignment
- Partner closely with the Founder and leadership team on long-term strategy.
- Align product development with supply chain, category growth, and expansion goals.
- Represent product and technology vision to investors and partners.
- Translate business challenges into scalable digital solutions.
Ideal Profile
- 12–18 years of experience in product and technology leadership, with 5+ years in a CPTO / CTO / VP Engineering capacity.
- Experience in E-commerce, Quick Commerce, Marketplace, or B2B platforms.
- Proven track record of scaling platforms handling millions of transactions.
- Strong expertise in distributed systems, microservices architecture, and AI/ML applications in commerce or logistics.
- Strategic yet hands-on leadership style.
- Experience building and mentoring high-performing teams.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to operate in ambiguity.
- B.Tech / M.Tech in Computer Science or related field from Tier-1 institutes preferred.
- Experience with modern stacks such as Node.js, React, Python, AWS, Kubernetes, and MongoDB
